Sint Baafskathedraal

A wonderful and misterious night at Cathedral.



Staindglasses of St. Bavo's Cathedral: They were reconstructed after 1890's. Original staindglasses was destroyed at "Iconoclasm". When I visited to Gent (10-11 Sep. 1998.), chancel and nave of St Bavo's Cathedral was restorated. Since we were able to climbed on Cathedral's roof.

Romanesque crypta of Cathedral

Center part of Crypta was remained only romanesque style in the Cathedral. Mural frescos (right photo) date from the period between 1480 and 1540.
